Baci

How can one describe the rich flavor and texture of a dark chocolate-covered hazelnut with a hazelnut crème center? The American kiss tastes like dirt after you’ve tasted the Italian Bacio. This kiss definitely lingers on your tongue longer than your lips. Carefully tucked inside the wrapper of my Bacio is a piece of paper that reads, “Il bacio fa piu giovane il cuore e cancella l’eta.”
-English translation “A kiss rejuvenates the heart and cancels out age.” Sounds better in Italian to be sure!

I prefer the quote I found the day after Christmas: “How can you not be consumed when the flames of love lick round your soul?” It draws me think about God’s all-consuming love.

As we complete the month of February it's nice to know that God's consuming love graciously abounds to us here at the House on Fairvilla.
